We have started our 2nd generation bioethanol project together with Biogasol. We are super-excited. We are talking to experts daily (from Denmark and abroad) and in mid-June we are going to the island for a few weeks to interview, brainstorm (and hopefully to enjoy the sun). A group of 4-5 people from Social Action will be on the island to do the study. The main purpose is dual: 1) to find lots and lots of organic waste that are now not being used effectively and 2) to understand how to motivate ordinary people on the island to participate in new waste management behaviours. In other words: we’ll try to funk up the way waste is understood. As we are beginning to say more and more: waste is the new black.
